Hello everyone,
I am so excited to show you the wedding of Kelly and José Luis! This pretty and adorable couple contacted me to officiate their ceremony in Dutch and Spanish. They both live in the Netherlands but José Luis has family in Badajoz, so they decided they had the perfect excuse to organize a destination wedding.
They met 7 years ago at their city’s gym and it was love at first sight. After a few years of dating, José Luis felt it was time for a proposal so he planned during many month and proposed during their trip to Cuba. A romantic dinner on the beach in Havana was the chosen place for a magical and unforgettable moment.
For their wedding they chose Cortijo Mi Ranchito as their venue and started planning their outdoor destination wedding. Unfortunately a few days before their wedding day, there was a threat of rain so a plan B had to be set up. On the day itself we were so lucky since only a few raindrops were predicted so the ceremony could be celebrated under the ivy covered space. For many years I had been longing to perform a ceremony under this space and the couple just loved the idea. The result was incredible. Just take a look at the wonderful pictures taken by their photographer, Rosseblanc.
I created a very personal bilingual wedding ceremony in Dutch and Spanish for Kelly and José Luis. We invited family and friends to express the couple their best wishes and give some nice advice. Finally the couple dedicated their own personal vows to each other which was great!
Remembering this wedding is so special for me since at the time I was pregnant but didn’t know it yet. I remember perfectly well that I thought “wow, the skirt tightens me a bit, I think I’m getting chubby…”
Congratulations Kelly and José Luis and thank you for making me part of on of the most unforgettable days of your lives.
